Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CodeIgniter Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic web applications using the CodeIgniter framework. You should have strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and front-end technologies along with a passion for clean, scalable, and secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications using the CodeIgniter PHP framework.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Build and maintain APIs, web services, and database-driven applications.
Customize and extend existing applications to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
Maintain documentation for development processes, code, and applications.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks to continuously improve skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1+ years of hands-on experience with CodeIgniter framework.
Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, SMS, email).
Familiarity with Git / version control systems.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of security practices and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

Experience with other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Yii, Symfony).
Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment (AWS, cPanel, etc.).
Experience with Agile methodologies.
